A Cello Event "From Soup to Nuts I"
Enjoy APhoto Essay of a Cello Event
during "The Great Blizzard of 2005"

The highly touted Cello Event "From Soup to Nuts"
went forward as planned on January 23 in spite of
the 12-inch New York snowfall that paralyzed
suburban traffic and train service.

Well over one hundred hardy and enthusiastic
Manhattanites and a sprinkling of indomitable music
lovers from the outskirts
trudged to the Leonard
Thalia Theater to experience an event that brought
a new format to classical music programming.

Combining imaginary interviews, topical comedy,
accents and props, concert cellist Harry Wimmer
brought many new dimensions to a substantial
classical music presentation.
